Travel mercies

By Dennis Aguinaldo

a stingray’s tail dried and mounted near the misty window

your eyebrows meet; lightning from the clouds

millipede crawls from a book chased by a runny pen

on the CCTV, a spider’s strand of light

damselfly tiptoes on the wet rope bridge
