By Tiara Lowery
don’t look for me.
I don’t want to be found.
I don’t want you to see me carried by the waves,
soaking in the warmth of the sun.
body soaked by the waters of release,
I am free.
carefree limbs outstretched,
swaying to the rhythms of a joyful life.
a once, unfamiliar tune,
now, the soundtrack of my existence.
this is not a dance you deserve to see.
this is a performance reserved for soft, iridescent irises,
free from your malignant ways and harsh judgment.
