Ganga

By L Yang

Having grown up in Shakespeare’s town, L Yang has had their fair share of poems read out in Shakespeare’s Birthplace or published in Stratford Literary Festival Collections. One of their short stories has been part of the RSC’s production ‘Our Jacko’ (Michael Morpurgo); another, titled ‘Forget Me Not’, has been published in ‘The Inkwell Presents: Invitation to Attend’.

When crafting poetry, they like to explore themes of nature, love and memory, because what is poetry if not the human experience distilled to something immortal? They sometimes muse on whether they are simply a conduit for something transcendental, or if they just enjoy romping in a space free from self-consciousness.

Apart from wanting to be an engineer one day, they also plan to publish a few novels in their brief time on this big rock (that is, Earth). Current WIP is a climate conscious piece disguised as a dystopian sci-fi, so watch this space!
