After Fadairo Tesleem & Abdulraheem Abdulbasit
There will be peace again in this land
One hand shall be free to shake the other hand
Again, children shall sing songs of joy
& elders shall have a place to enjoy.
In Shaa Allah, we shall get what exactly we asked for
In this land, where all we get is terror
We asked for water, and got flood
We asked for living and got blood.
God’s willing, in our land, peace shall be restored
And shall replace these pains time has nurtured
For our leaders have gone to markets to obtain,
Love, unity and conciliation, as we proclaim.
